Twin Slime
Slimeology
Twin slimes are thought to be a strange byproduct of the Prismacore’s influence on the Labyrinth, appearing as two slimes sharing the same space but at alternating intervals. It remains unknown whether they represent two instances of the same slime or entirely separate individuals, and even less certain if they possess any awareness of their unusual condition.
Plortonomics
Much like the slime itself, a twin slime plort is actually two plorts coexisting in the same space but aligned in opposite polarities. This dual nature makes them highly unstable and extremely difficult to apply in practical ways. For instance, when incorporated into construction materials, they can produce both the strongest and weakest substance imaginable at the very same time. On the Plort Market, they are regarded as both the most valuable plorts ever discovered and so undervalued that selling them can actually cost a rancher more newbucks than they earn. In the end, their worth tends to balance out into something rather ordinary.
