Batty Slime
Slimeology
Batty Slimes prefer the cold and the dark, often found clinging to cave ceilings before swooping down with glowing red eyes and sharp fangs. Despite appearances, they are not vampires. Their glowing eyes simply allow them to see in darkness, and their aversion to garlic stems from their natural diet of fruit rather than any supernatural qualities.
Plortonomics
Batty Plorts hold remarkable potential in the fields of navigation and sonar technology. Each plort is capable of producing a precise acoustic ping suitable for echolocation, making them valuable for exploring even the most complex environments. With the proper expertise, a steady supply of Batty Plorts could make traversing intricate labyrinths effortless, though practical applications of this technology remain limited for most people.
Special behavior
- Agitation rises twice as quickly as other slimes when exposed to sunlight.
- Hunger increases twice as quickly as other slimes when kept in darkness.
- Flies in the same manner as a Phosphor Slime.
