Puddle Slime
Slimeology
Puddle Slimes are a rare species found exclusively in the fresh water pools scattered across the Far, Far Range. Unlike most other slimes, they do not consume fruit, vegetables, or meat. Instead, they absorb water directly into their bodies while resting on the surface of a pool. To survive, Puddle Slimes require a constant supply of fresh water. If left on any other surface for too long, they will gradually evaporate until they vanish entirely.
Plortonomics
Puddle Plorts are composed almost entirely of a remarkable hydro compound known to chemists throughout the galaxy as H2Ohhhhh. This substance is the foundation of an exceptionally costly brand of bottled water that has become a luxury item among Earth’s elite. While some claim that its flavor is no different from ordinary tap water, enthusiasts insist that such critics simply fail to appreciate its unique qualities.
