Hobson Twillgers

Hobson's past is mostly unknown, especially before he left Earth. What is clear is that his curiosity and wanderlust drove him to the Far, Far Range. He often slept in The Grotto, dreaming of stars, and spent rainy days in his lab experimenting with plort technology—sometimes dangerously so. After meeting Viktor Humphries, Hobson dove deeper into his inventions. His story takes a personal turn when he meets Thora West in The Indigo Quarry and falls for her. His affection leads him on long treks through places like Crystal Volcano just to collect crystals for her wind chimes. During his journey through The Ancient Ruins, Hobson began to reflect on life’s choices—risk versus comfort. These ideas solidified when he reached The Glass Desert, where he encountered a switch with two doors. One door represented using the Warp Terminal to become the first human to travel through space-time; the other, a life with Thora. In the end, he chose love over legacy, leaving behind adventure for companionship. He now lives at Thora's ranch. Hobson also created The Vaults to store Gold Plorts as future wealth, which he planned to use after his journey. Instead, he unlocks them for Beatrix after she completes her adventure.
